Homecoming: A 50th Anniversary Celebration

As Archway Gallery looks back on our 50 years, we are ever thankful to The Jung Center where we started.

One of our missions being directly linked to The Jung Center has always been community service. Archway has reached out to various charities over the years to collaborate with, most notably our annual juried show every July, which gives outside artists a place to show.

Archway's 34 artist have been meticulously juried in as members. Archway maintains high quality work and its variety includes oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, printmaking, photography, fiber and a variety of 3D which includes wood, ceramics, glass, bronze and metal.

We have been in 5 locations. Jung Center, Rice Village, Missouri street near Texas Art, and in 1993 we moved to River Oaks shopping center for 15 years. Our present location on Dunlavy has been our home for 17 years.

Archway has been a key player in the lives of over 110 Houston artists, allowing them to grow both their artistic and business skills.
