Writing

Writing the Extraordinary in the Ordinary

Popular instructor Sandi Stromberg returns for this workshop that encourages us to see our world with new eyes.

Saturday, August 4
10 am - 1 pm
$60 ($50 Jung Center members)

Reflect on how your life seems filled with activities and objects that are everyday ordinary. Then, through a series of writing exercises explore their extraordinary nature—their meaning for you and the roles they play (or have played) in your life. We will use objects from The Jung Center's sandtray collection to spur our imaginations and discover how expressive writing in a non-threatening atmosphere allows us to mine the unconscious and gain new insights.

Sandi Stromberg, MA, is an award-winning poet and magazine feature writer who has facilitated writing classes at The Jung Center for 18 years.
