Explore the intimate connection between healing and the sounds of particular syllables, as expressed in ancient Tibetan texts. Tibetan meditative sounds can affect us on all levels—physical, mental, and spiritual. In this workshop, participants will learn how to meditate using these ancient Tibetan sacred sounds and apply that state of mind in everyday life.

Meditation methods will include awareness of breath, visualization and concentration. While producing the sounds, participants will focus on the meaning associated with each sound and visualize its corresponding color of light and location in the body (chakra). Working with particular circumstances from everyday life, this practice can help cleanse and release inner obstacles, connect with a sense of completeness and, if needed, retrieve a positive quality (e.g., love, joy, or peace of mind). That quality and sense of completeness are then brought to manifest and integrate into daily life, and to be shared with others.

All are welcome. No previous experience with meditation is required for this unique workshop. This practice can be done sitting on a chair or cushion, whatever is most comfortable for the practitioner.
