When women gather together and share what it is to be a woman today, one significant experience is often unnamed or marginalized—living as a woman who will never be a "mother" in the traditional way. Whether because of a decision your body made, one you forgot to make, one you made freely, or one you are struggling with today, being a woman without being a mother evokes its own feelings, considerations, and experiences that deserve to be named and shared in the company of like women. Suzan Cotellesse is a psychotherapist, consultant, and LPC-Intern supervisor and trainer. She has 27 years experience assisting individuals, couples, and groups with personal and professional changes, challenges, conflicts and crises. Her therapeutic expertise includes trauma resolution and women's empowerment. She conducts workshops for women who will never be mothers, teaches creativity classes, and facilitates women's process groups.
