Discover how many of the Dalai Lama's teachings, including his notion of universal responsibility and his blessing that "a good heart is the best religion," can be useful in everyday life, regardless of one's religious tradition or spiritual practice. Along with reading and our intellectual exploration of these ideas, we will learn meditative techniques to connect and open one's heart, and to cultivate the qualities of one's innate wisdom and loving kindness, for the benefit of oneself and all sentient beings.

Alejandro Chaoul, PhD, has been a student of Tibetan Buddhism since 1989 and has studied with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, and Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, among others. He teaches for the Ligmincha Institute in various locations in the U.S, Mexico, and Poland.
