Without being aware of it, do we wear masks when we deal with others? Masks can be convenient. They can protect us, but they also can hide us, both from ourselves and others. Do we know when we are wearing our mask and why? In this workshop, we will create a plaster mask of our faces. Using an emotional intelligence model and our own intuitive voices, we will explore both the outer and inner surfaces of masks through collage, journaling, videos, discussion dyads and mini-lecture. Art materials are included in the registration fee.
