In this introduction to yoga, students will learn to combine the fundamental principles and techniques of asana (yogic posture), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation to develop a personal and spiritual practice (sadhana). By patiently observing physical and mental patterns, students are able to shift awareness from the gross to the subtle and release attachments. Please bring your own mat.
