Beth Macy, PhD
Six Tuesdays, 7:30-9 pm
Apr 10 - May 15
$135 ($125 Jung Center members)
Is there a pattern that underlies all of the archetypes, an archetype of archetypes? Jung conceptualized the Self as the overarching ordering principle of the psyche. How do the various, individual archetypes relate to the Self—or fit under its umbrella—and how do they appear in our lives? Using mythology, art, and activities for reflection, this course will explore how the archetypes form an ever-flowing system that acts fractally—from the cosmic level to the cellular—and how consciousness of this system can deepen our life journeys.
Beth Macy, PhD, is an organizational consultant who has worked extensively in public and mental health as well as in large corporations. A student of Jung's work for many years, she focuses on the applications of archetypal patterns in coaching managers and in resolving work-place problems.
