Discover why admission and integration of one's shadow is the absolute prerequisite for any process of maturing toward wholeness. Shadow work is the core of spirituality in the second half of life. Jung taught that the shadow acts as a counterbalance to illusion and inflation. Through lecture, videos, discussion and sharing, this class will focus on discovering shadow in family, relationships, work, the body, religion, and world politics, where we can find lost aspects of our self and our inner gold.
Recommended readings: Meeting the Shadow, edited by Zweig and Abrams; Owning Your Own Shadow, Robert Johnson
