Experience the ingenious Awareness Through Movement sequences created by Moshe Feldenkrais to improve posture, imagination, and personal awareness. An experience for body and mind, gentle, minimal movements are intended to bring our attention back to ourselves and, through the movement sequence, create new possibilities of movement and awareness. Many experience deep relaxation—and lightness—and benefit from a broadened range of motion and mobility. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing. Mats will be provided.
MaryBeth Smith, MM, GCFP, is Director of the Feldenkrais® Center of Houston. With more than 20 years of teaching experience in university and community settings, she now uses the Feldenkrais Method ® to help people improve their self-image, function, and enjoyment in movement and in life.
