Relational Meditation: Cultivating Wisdom and Compassion Through Relationship
Mary Rees
Five Tuesdays, 5:45—7:15 pm
Sept 11—Oct 9
$115 ($105 Jung Center members)
Deepen your capacity for tenderness and intimacy, increase your skill in dealing with difficult interpersonal encounters, and develop your sense of personal and professional integrity through relational meditation. Students with all levels of meditation experience will work in carefully guided interpersonal groups to build the capacity to attend to, become aware of, and engage directly with others. These practices will increase clarity, kindness, a sense of well-being, and an awareness of natural wholeness. Students will begin or enrich a daily meditation practice as part of this course.
Mary Rees, MS, has been teaching insight and mindfulness meditation since 1989 and relational meditation since 2001. She is the author of Being Prayer—Transforming Consciousness, a book about living fully by integrating meditation skills as a dynamic process in all aspects of one's life.
