How do we become authentic and whole women? How can the relationship between mother and daughter support—and hinder—this process for both women at key moments in their development? We will explore the complexities of the mother-daughter relationship throughout one's life, using stories found in film, myth, and fairy tales. This collective wisdom will deepen our understanding of the significance of our own mother-daughter relationships in our individual journeys. The class will include lecture, film, journaling, and discussion.
