In celebration of the creative work of The Jung Center’s members and students, the Art and Exhibitions Committee requests submissions for Turning Point, a summer art exhibit, June 2 - July 16, 2009.
Eligibility
Eligible persons are those students and/or members as of the fall 2008 through summer 2009 semesters. Artists may submit as many as three pieces for exhibition. An entry fee of $20 will be charged for the first entry and $10 for each additional piece. Depending on space limitations, one to three pieces will be selected for exhibition. You may submit one to three of the following media:
Two-dimesional visual art. Art must be framed unless the non-framed edge is part of the design, and it must not exceed 60” x 60.” Please note the title, your name, and the price (if it is for sale) on the back of the piece.
Sculpture. Pieces not to exceed 60” in height. Please tag each piece with your name, the title and the price (if it is for sale). Pedestals, if required, must be provided by the artist.

Bring your art to The Jung Center Thursday, May 28, from 11 am to 7 pm or Friday, May 29, from 9 am to 5 pm.
When you drop off your artwork, you will receive 20 invitations to the Gallery Party to mail to your family, friends, and collectors. Works not selected for exhibition are to be picked up by Tuesday and Wednesday,
June 2-3.
Opening Night
The Opening Gallery Party for Turning Point will be Saturday, June 13, between the hours of 5 - 8 p.m. We look forward to the participation of our many talented members and students in this show. |
